Project Schedule

The original I-275 (SR 93) PD&E Study began in 2012 and concluded with LDCA approval of the Type II CE in July 2016. The 2017 Design Change Re-evaluation was initiated in summer 2016 and concluded in July 2017. The current Design Change Re-evaluation began in August 2018. The project activities include collecting information, developing roadway improvement concepts, and evaluating the potential environmental and social effects of the concepts.

A public hearing for the current Design Change Re-evaluation is scheduled for September 24, 2019. The re-evaluation is expected to be complete by Winter 2019/2020.

 

What’s New?

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a Design Change Re-evaluation of the Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study for I-275 (SR 93) from south of 54th Avenue South to north of 4th Street North in Pinellas County. A Public Hearing for the Design Change Re-evaluation is scheduled for September 24, 2019.
